Notification that the Lancashire A.G.M. will be held at Leigh Miners Welfare Club, Kirby Road, LEIGH, WN7 4EF on Saturday 22nd January 2022 @ 2pm.

As part of Active Lancashire’s support offer to club’s and groups, they have developed a series of free online monthly club development workshops that will be delivered in partnership with UCLAN’s Chris Gunn.

Chris has been researching grassroots sports clubs and governance for 3 years and has developed a model called ‘The 7 F’s’. Every month until March 2022 they will focus on a different area in detail culminating in a face-to-face event in March.

The 2021 Crown Green Senior Merit Trophy (commonly known as the ‘All England’) will be played at Heaton Park, Manchester, on Saturday 24th July, commencing at 10am.

Admission is £5 and spectators will be permitted to bring in their own seating to the venue.  Refreshments will be available for purchase.

It is with great regret that the Lancashire C.G.B.A. has to announce the death of Mr Doug Stewart, who was a Life Member of Lancashire CGBA, the B.C.G.B.A. & the B.C.G.R.S.

Doug passed away on 28th June after a long illness. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
