Latest Advice on Insurance and Fees
Update from Keith Andrews:
I have found out that if a Clubs in your League are not affiliated to B.C.G.B.A. by paying the the £35, if they get Insurance through Endsleigh Insurance they will not be Insured, this is because it is an agreement between the two companies.
When bowling starts & Clubs open there greens they must have Insurance in place.
If for any reason they are not opening their greens , they have to remember that the Insurance runs up to 30th April 2020 & would have to pay the full £45 for what ever period was remaining up to 30th April 2021.
As a County we have had expenses from 1st November 2019 to the day that bowling was suspended, we had to pay for printing of Lancashire Handbooks, Printing of all Affiliation forms & we had to pay B.C.G.B.A. for their Handbooks & other small fees that as a County we have to pay.
I am asking the Clubs to pay the full affilliation fee for this year, I am also looking to charge Clubs a reduced fee for next year.
I am keeping both Handbooks till next year to be distributed & with Lancashire’s to add a small updated book.
This would bring our County in line with some other counties..
